"Hi, I’m Javier Lopez, the managing director of Swissthermic. In 2005, I founded this company after observing the cycle time and again throughout the Suisse Romande region: home and property owners who wanted to transition to cleaner and more efficient heating but were met with ignorance, red tape, or gouging when they tried to navigate the long and winding road toward that goal.
The problem wasn’t interest at all. It was execution. The paperwork required to obtain a permit, as well as the potential return on investment, left people feeling overwhelmed and concerned that they would employ contractors whose work simply didn’t materialise. I knew this transition could be easier and more respectful of people’s time, budgets, and trust.
